On Saturday 30th November the School of Creative and Cultural Business alongside the School of Applied Social Studies will be hosting an event to explore local legends and folklore. It follows a successful first event as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Sciences and will showcase stories from the North East of Scotland community, invite visitors to share their own stories and explore the role of the social sciences in the telling and remembering of these stories.
At the event, you will have the opportunity to explore an exhibition of local folklore stories, hear from and chat with academics, and take part in family-friendly activities to reimagine some of these stories!
And…if you have a story to share we would love to hear from you and add your stories to our future exhibition. You can share your stories on our webpage or come along and tell us on the day 🙂 – https://localfolklore.weebly.com/
