Come and get involved in The Listener, a temporary public art work commissioned by Aberdeen’s Look Again Festival, in a public drop in session on Saturday 15th April @ the Anatomy Rooms. Artist Jason Nelson has been working with residents of Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire to record stories and narratives from every day life and the history of Aberdeen.
This workshop invites you to meet the artist, share your stories for inclusion in the public art work and contribute text or imagery to a large scale cardboard sculpture which will be collaboratively created throughout the day.
The sculpture will reflect the large scale trumpet forms of The Listener and will be exhibited during Look Again at Aberdeen Central Library, alongside two other large scale trumpet forms which have been created by pupils from Aberdeen City schools, with support from the artist.
Come and be part of a unique creative process and piece of public art.
